RT40 DUST SUPPRESSANT has been developed to improve the dust suppression performance of conveyor
belt and transfer point spray nozzle systems.
The implementation of RT40 DUST SUPPRESSANT should include the evaluation of the total system's requirements and
if required the changing of nozzle sizes and positioning to ensure optimum results are achieved.
Droplets generated by a spray system must be kept within a specific size range to effectively control dust.
If the droplets are too large, the smaller particles typically just 'slipstream' around them without contract, conversely,
if too small, the droplets simply mix and circulate with the dust particles without wetting them.
HOW IT WORKS
Almost all airborne dust is hydrophobic i.e. repels water, the water droplets, even those correctly sized,
tend to bounce off the dust particles.
By adding RT40 DUST SUPPRESSANT into a water spray systems, the wetting agents break the surface tension between the particles
and the water allowing the water to easily attach to the particles, then the added polymers bind the fines together which weigh them
down allowing them to settle - FAST.

RT40 DUST SUPPRESSANT reduces dust levels produced on conveyor belts and transfer points by a
further 60% over traditional water spray applications.
The product is manufactured to suit the individual material and water type and can be formulated to assist
in_raising_or_lowering_the moisture level required in the material.
APPLICATION RATE
RT40 DUST SUPPRESSANT is diluted at between 1:2000 & 1:10000. As material and water types vary from project to project,
dosage rates are determined
individually according to site requirements.
