In today's busy lifestyle, the shower is the most used bathing area in the bathroom. The Decina one piece moulded shower base provides security from leaking tile floors and an excellent non-slip environment. Prelude shower bases can be installed without a mortar bed (on a smooth level floor). This saves valuable on-site labour costs. Complementing the slip resistant characteristics of the acrylic is the patterning on the floor of the bases. Construction is in the minimum maintenance acrylic, so it resists the growth of mould that often disfigures tile floors. All sizes in the Prelude Bases come with 4 sided "Safety Seal" upstands around the edges for security from leaks. There is an option of a traditional 2 sided tiling bead on the 905mm base only. The new "Fine Line" tiling beads on the bases make for easy installation.

Decina's Shower bases have "Safety-Seal", full perimeter 20mm upstands on most models. As both the door and lining are fully within the tray perimeter, water flows back into the tray during use. Both the liner and the door / return are now retained inside the tray perimeter. This virtually eliminates the possibility of leaking through poor installation. The full perimeter upstand ensures that water can only flow back into the tray.
