Memberships

Please consider supporting ‘live jazz’ in Brisbane by becoming a member of the Brisbane Jazz Club. Members are entitled to reduced admission prices to most Club events, plus other benefits such as  special offers from partner Jazz Clubs.

Club membership applies from 1 July each year to 30 June the following year, and membership is always available.  A half year membership is available online to new members only from 1 Jan – 30 June.

Annual membership for the 2011 – 2012 year (1 July 2011 – 30 June 2012) will be available early June 2011, and the half year membership to new members will be available from 1 Jan 2012 – 30 June 2012

Your Club membership card must be presented every time you attend the Club in order to gain reduced admission costs, and failure to do so will result in non member admission prices being paid.

Click here to sign up for membership online.

Alternatively, fill out a Membership form and submit it to the Club. Please note: A $3 Admin fee applies to all applications which are not carried out through our online system.

Welcome to new Jazz Club members and renewing members

The Brisbane Jazz Club has been the hub of jazz in Brisbane for the last 39 years and as a not- for- profit organisation with a hard working Management Committee and a large team of volunteers, it is  able to bring some of the best live jazz to Brisbane, at reasonable prices.

The Club is  open at least 3 nights a week, often 4, presenting all genres of jazz.  Your membership costs can be covered by coming to the Club only 6 times - from then on, you will be saving.

The Brisbane Jazz Club supports music for young musicians through our Talkin’Jazz programme, which, until this year, was funded by the Brisbane City Council.   This year, we are self funded, so your support is vital.

We have a secure online booking system, a website which gives all information with regard to performances at the Club, excellent catering by Story Bridge Hotel, a wide range of drinks at our fully stocked bar, parking in the public carpark adjacent to the Club, a deck with the river lapping at it’s wall, and sometimes ‘over’ the wall, and of course, a million dollar view of the City..

Brisbane Jazz Club is a unique, heritage listed location and loved and supported  not only by those living in Brisbane, but special to other Jazz Clubs around Australia.

Thank you for becoming a member, or renewing your membership.  We look forward to welcoming you to a performance very soon!

Renewing or Applying for Membership On Line

New members can  ‘purchase’ membership via our internet booking system and existing members can renew online - click here.

The new Club year 2011 – 2012 runs from 1 July 2011 – 30 June 2012. Purchasing membership online is similar to booking seats for a Club night, and as with bookings, there are some important little things to observe as you go.

After you have completed your order, you will receive an email with a 'ticket' which can be used as proof of membership until you receive your membership card in the mail. When you purchase your Club membership via our internet booking system, you are registered as a Club member in the system, so when you next SIGN IN to make a booking, the system offers you the member’s admission price.
